YOUTH
Ocmulgee Baptist Church is blessed with a vibrant Youth Ministry. It includes Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:45am, with classes for Youth in 7th & 8th grades, and 9-12th grades; Youth group on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, and a variety of events and activities designed to involve Youth in ministry and missions, and encouraging fellowship and spiritual growth. The Youth enjoy local mission trips, monthly ministry projects and fellowships. Each year the Youth go on a spiritual retreat, or mission trip.
MUSIC
There are more than 500 accounts in the Bible of songs, instruments, psalms, music and musicians. Forty-four of the sixty-six books of the Bible contain actual hymns and songs. Our music program is very important at Ocmulgee Baptist Church. Through music we worship God and prepare to receive the preaching of God’s Word.
You are invited to become a part of our Music Ministry. “Let the Word of God dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Colossians 3:16)
Our Adult Choir and Drama cast do a Dinner Theater in December, an Easter program, and a Patriotic emphasis in July.
